OP OP! An article about a real review of the BMW F11 525d.
When the car first arrived from Odesa, Slava was thrilled with its appearance, and after the engine assembly, the first driving impressions were very positive.
Does a 2.0 diesel belong in a 5 Series?
This car's modification, the 525d, features a 2-liter diesel engine with two turbines, a fuel consumption of 8 liters in the city, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.5-5.8 seconds, and lower maintenance costs compared to the 3.0-liter version. The owner really liked the engine, and it deserves attention!
Comfort and handling:
The car is comfortable on high-profile tires and 17-inch wheels. The dynamics are sufficient if you’re not a fan of aggressive driving, and the handling is quite good.
Exterior:
The car's appearance satisfies the owner, but to complete the look, it needs a new grille, different wheels, a lowered stance, and facelift headlights.
Interior and equipment:
It features black sporty leather seats, a black panel, Hi-Fi audio, a head-up display, and adaptive cruise control.
Driving experience:
The seating position is very comfortable, the dynamics are adequate, and the high-profile tires make potholes nearly unnoticeable. For highway driving, the active cruise control and the head-up display are extremely convenient.
After the engine rebuild, the car covered 4,500 kilometers, with the oil replaced twice, and no metal shavings were found.
After 4,500 kilometers, the car was sold, and a decision was made to search for an F10 535i with an N55 engine.
