OP OP! Article about our long-term project BMW F11 525d. This car was purchased 2 years ago at a low price with a great configuration and a non-working engine, from which one engine was assembled from four, tuned with chip tuning and broken in, after which the car was sold, and 2 years later, it returned to the family.
After we sold the car, it changed 2 owners. The next owner after us drove the car without issues, installed 19-inch rims, a lip, anti-chrome, and continued driving, covering about 10,000 km with the car.
Later, our mutual acquaintance suggested exchanging the F11 for an F30, and the owner agreed. Since the car was often used on highways, 18-inch rims were installed, the lip was removed, the headlights were polished, and the front of the car was wrapped in polyurethane film.
After selling the F06 640d, our manager Slava was looking for a family car within a budget of $15,000, and through a mutual acquaintance, he found out that the car was for sale. A few days later, the car arrived in Kyiv, was inspected at the service, and purchased for $15,000.
In a year of use, the following parts were replaced: all suspension bushings, steering wheel swapped for an M-steering wheel, inner door handles, crankshaft damper pulley replaced, and crankshaft seal.
Exterior changes:
Anti-chrome was done, EIBACH springs installed, mirror covers added, LED headlights fitted, and in the end, we have a beautiful estate with good dynamics and low fuel consumption.
