BMW F10 535i, 2016 model year, with a very good configuration and minor damage.

When the future owner found the car at an auction in the USA, it was completely intact externally, but with the note "Mechanical damage," which means any kind of damage, from wiring to engine. Companies that import cars do not recommend bringing cars with this note…

PURCHASE HISTORY:

The owner had been searching for a car in Ukraine for a long time, but couldn't find an F10 with the desired configuration, so he decided to import a car from the USA, one with no external damage and only a facelift. After a month of reviewing many options, this BMW F10 was won for $9600.

While the car was on its way to Kyiv, the owner suspected that the engine could be in a faulty state, but didn't fully believe it and hoped for a minor mechanical issue.

When the car arrived at our service, its battery was completely discharged, which caused some issues with opening the doors and unloading it from the tow truck. When the car was brought into the garage for the first start, it was discovered that the engine was seized.

The owner searched for an engine with low mileage and in good condition, but the search was difficult, and at times he thought about selling the car without the engine. However, after some time, a brand-new, zero-mileage N55 engine was found for $9000, in perfect condition.

SERVICE AND REPAIR:

After purchasing the engine, we installed it in the car, performed extensive maintenance, changed the oil in the transmission and differentials, worked on the electrical system, recharged the air conditioning, replaced the underbody protection, cleaned the interior, and installed black grille inserts and mirror caps.

CAR CONFIGURATION:

Blind spot monitoring, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, M steering wheel, black ceiling, Harman/Kardon sound system, head-up display, M package all around, NAPA leather.

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND TUNING:

The car was equipped with an LED dashboard, 2 sets of wheels, black grille inserts, and mirror caps.

ENGINE TUNING:

After some time of using the car, the owner wanted to upgrade the engine with a STAGE 1 tune from BOOTMOD3 (of which we are authorized dealers). A DOWN PIPE was installed, the Stage 1 tune was applied, and popcorn sound was configured. The owner didn't like the exhaust sound, so modifications were made to it.

After driving on STAGE 1, the owner wanted even more power and decided to go for STAGE 2. To achieve this, a high-performance intercooler, FTP charge pipe, and STAGE 2 tune from BOOTMOD3 were installed, along with STAGE 3 chip tuning from xHP Flashtool. The total cost of tuning was $2700.
