OP OP! The second article about the damaged BMW F30 from the USA. In the previous article, we imported the car, and in this one, we will cover the repair and final cost.
After the car arrived in Kyiv, we started inspecting it. The wheel was pointing in the wrong direction, and when we lifted the car on the lift, we found that the control arms and tie rods needed replacement. After dealing with the suspension, we changed the engine oil. Next, the car went for inspection of the body parts, and several issues with damaged parts and fasteners on the left side were discovered.
The car owner had to buy not only the left headlight but also the right front headlight.
At the body shop, the fender, hood were painted, and a bumper was purchased in the correct color, with two doors polished.
The car without repairs in Ukraine cost 13,324$
– 750$ - fender + bumper + headlight + fog light
– 190$ - certification
– 223$ - service center
– 415$ - bodywork
– 1829$ - parts + labor at our service
The total cost of the car was 16,731$
