BMW F30 from Canada with 23,000 km mileage: Delivery cost and was it possible to save?

OP OP! Today we have an article about a unique BMW F30 with only 23,000 kilometers on the clock, imported from Canada. 

The car is a 2015 model, white, all-wheel drive, with an N20 engine.  

The auction price was $8,000, and since the car was purchased on the other side of Canada, delivery to Ukraine cost $7,000. Registration cost $400.  

In total, the car arrived in Ukraine without repairs for $17,500. The owner was very lucky that at the time, customs clearance was zero, saving an additional $6,000.  

Suspension repair:  

As soon as the car arrived in Ukraine, it was taken to our BMW service station in Ivano-Frankivsk, where we replaced the steering knuckle, two shock absorbers, bump stops, and also replaced the air conditioning radiator (total cost: $1,400).  

Body repair:  

Replaced parts: hood, fender, headlight housing, and its bracket. All these elements were repainted at the body shop, with a total cost of $5,000.  

The front two wheels were repaired, all four wheels were repainted, and two new tires were installed, costing $600.  

Additional upgrades:  

Installed an M steering wheel and original mirror inserts – total cost: $1,050.  

Final cost of the car: $22,000. The vehicle features a beautiful red interior, M steering wheel, NBT system, and a sport gear selector.
