OP OP! Article about the Stage 3 tune on our BMW F10 535 with water-methanol.
The main issue with our BMW F10 535 is constant detonation. To eliminate it, we’ve tried a lot of options, changing all the injectors, spark plugs, PCV valve, knock sensors, lambda sensors, and all of that without significant results.
After flashing with the bootmod3 tune, we started the car dyno testing:
Stage 3 (98 octane fuel) – 397HP
Stage 3 (98 octane fuel + water-methanol) – 428HP
Stage 2 (98 octane fuel) – 375HP
After more testing, we realized that the engine detonation was significantly hindering us, so our tune ended up not being ideal, and we decided to stop at 430HP with water-methanol.
After testing, the car was handed over to our BMW service for a loan car service.
