The fire occurred under the hood and was immediately extinguished. A few hours later, the F10 was delivered to the service, and we began to investigate the cause.
After considering many options and examining the engine bay, we concluded that the sixth injector, six months after replacement, started leaking, which caused the fire.
After the fire, the following parts were replaced: the sixth injector, valve cover, and pipe.
After performing an endoscopy of the sixth cylinder, we discovered that there was scoring in the sixth cylinder of the engine, while no scoring was found in the other cylinders.
