BMW G30 540 is already on the road: What issues remain and is it a good purchase from the USA?

OP OP! Second article about BMW G30 540 from the USA, in this article we’ll talk about the technical restoration of the car and sending it to the body shop.

In the previous article, we received the car, conducted a defect inspection, and ordered missing parts. During the disassembly, after diagnosis, almost nothing additional was found. The car was almost fully assembled technically and could move without issues.

The car had the following parts replaced: the front right brake line, the right front control arm, 4 new wheels with tires, a new front installation panel, a bumper reinforcement, and the subframe was welded (due to its unavailability in Ukraine). Also, full maintenance was done, including the replacement of all fluids and filters.

Additionally, a lot of underhood plastic and airbags were ordered from Germany.

After our service, the car was sent for straightening and paintwork. After the exterior work was completed, our service also addressed some electrical and suspension issues.

In the end, we have a beautiful car with a decent configuration.

The final cost of the car was $32,675, but the car still requires some additional investments and has a few technical nuances.
